In Memory Of Staff Sergeant

Adi Tzur

(2002–2023)

A rare soul, a true fighter, and forever a part of our journey
"When I felt that I was struggling, I started helping those who were struggling even more."
– Adi Tzur
Adi Tzur was our beloved youngest son, and true to the meaning of his name — Adi, “jewel” — he was a rare and radiant soul. Kind-hearted and deeply compassionate, Adi had an extraordinary way of connecting with people.

Adi’s family recalls that their home was always warm and filled with laughter, thanks to him and the many close friends who were drawn to his genuine presence and generous spirit.

Adi’s sensitivity extended to animals as well. For years he volunteered at a shelter for abandoned dogs, where he formed a special bond with Lenny — a severely injured dog whom he later adopted and healed with his love. The two became inseparable.

A passionate athlete, Adi played volleyball in his hometown and had a deep love for soccer. His dedication and resilience defined every path he took — including his service in the IDF. Determined to become a combat soldier in the Golani Brigade, Adi overcame an injury to complete his training as a sniper in the 51st Battalion.

On October 7th, 2023, Adi acted with extraordinary bravery during the Hamas attack near Kibbutz Kissufim. When his unit’s jeep was ambushed, Adi and another soldier leapt into action, confronting the terrorists head-on. Their courageous stand allowed the wounded to retreat and gave their battalion the critical time needed to defend the Kibbutz — preventing a massacre and saving countless lives.

Adi was a man of quiet strength — always leading through action, never seeking the spotlight. He dreamed of traveling, studying, and building a future with Inbal, his girlfriend of six years. That future was stolen, but his legacy lives on.

We carry his memory with love and a pain that never fades. His spirit, his values, and his bravery are now forever a part of Scoutrix.

To honor Adi’s life and the sports he loved so deeply, Scoutrix will dedicate the soccer and volleyball modules of our platform in his name. His passion, courage, and light will continue to inspire young athletes for generations to come.

We are humbled and grateful to take part in this act of remembrance through the Next October initiative. It is a privilege to share Adi’s story and to help preserve the memory.

This tribute is part of the Next October initiative to honor and remember the lives of those who were taken.
